![]() What this test will tell you is if the short circuit is in front of vehicle (or in the instrument panel) or if the short is in the rear of the vehicle. ![]() Turn on park lamps again and see if fuse blows. If fuse did not blow then turn off park lamps and reinstall connector and tighten down the nut. there will be 2 retainers they will be black or white cant remember. Turn park lamps ON - check if fuse still blew. remove the push pins on the front panel across the rad remove panel. Once the bolt is loose wiggle the connector so it is also loose, you might not actually be able to pull the connector off the electrical block because the connector has some "pre-stage" features that are sometimes hard to overcome. The bolt is part of the connector and will not actually come out. Take a 7 mm nut driver and loosen the bolt you see holding in the wiring connector to the fuse block. Open passenger door and remove the fuse block cover off the end of IP. Have ignition OFF and headlamp switch OFF. If you want to give it a try - and still have some additional fuses (don't use any bigger one than what was originally in vehicle - which I think was a 15 Amp). I provided that schematic info with understanding it might be a little overwhelming - that is why I only provided a couple pages - to give you a taste. This particular fuse is probably the worst one in vehicle to troubleshoot in regards to the number of devices it "feeds" Well that makes it easier since it is blowing all the time - of course kind of expensive in regards to going thru fuses (LOL). ![]()
